Pot Head Workshop
Thursday 5th March 2020
Evening Session: 7 - 9 PM
The Jam Jar, BS2 9EB
Join the Pot Heads!
Pot Heads are hand sculpted ceramic characters, what will your plant pot pal look like?
Have a play with some clay and create your own Pot Head in a fun, relaxing workshop.
In the 2 hour workshop you will learn some simple techniques and be guided step by step to build your own pot head character using air-drying clay. Take your pot away on the day, with a botanical hairstyle of your choice. No experience needed, just a willingness to get a bit messy!
The session is a great way to unwind, relax and get in touch with your creative and silly side. Lots of fun to do together with a pal, a partner or parent, or come along and meet other Pot Heads! The workshop is suitable for all ages and abilities, and we encourage first time potters to come along and have a go!
Workshop price includes all equipment and materials, plus a succulent or cactus 'hairstyle' of your choice.
Hosted at The Jam Jar, a volunteer-led independent community arts space in the heart of Bristol. A transformed derelict warehouse in the heart of the city, it is a totally unique creative space where grassroots projects are born and grow. A host of artistic mediums are practiced, produced and performed in The Jam Jar. Home to a vibrant community of creatives, the space facilitates cross-pollination of creative practices and regularly hosts events in collaboration with artists from all over the world.
