Get your team out of their heads & in to their hands!
Playing with clay and using our hands to sculpt and form is an incredible way to relax the mind, it is tactile, therapeutic and encourages mindfulness by connecting mind and body. The Pot Heads are all about encouraging play and for people to get their hands dirty, unleash some creativity and have a go at the tactile medium of pottery. Community artist Tasha has developed the workshop to enable potters of all abilities to get stuck in, build confidence and create something they can be proud of and cherish forever as well as enjoying the experience.
How Does It Work?
As The Pot Heads are completely portable, there are plenty of options for you ...
Bring The Pot Heads To You (Across UK - Bristol, London, & Beyond)
Tasha and her team can travel to your workplace, or a venue of your choice with everything that is needed for the workshop! Table coverings and aprons will be provided along with everything else, so you don't need to worry about clearing up after getting stuck in with your clay & play. Tasha & The Pot Head team can host sessions for large or small groups, just get in touch to find out more.
Come Along To Pot Head HQ (Bristol)
Tasha can host up to 25 potters at her studio in St Werburghs, Bristol. Unit 8 Studios is a creative hub that is home to some of Bristol's most quirky creatives and this provides a unique opportunity to take a peek inside. (You are welcome to BYOB to studio sessions if you would like to have a tipple whilst potting, or teas and coffees can be provided.
Pot Heads At The Pub (Bristol)
Tasha has an arrangement with local Bristol pub, The Coronation in Southville, where she regularly hosts sessions. If you would like to enjoy a tipple whilst potting in a relaxed environment this is the perfect setting! A drink 'on the house' can be included and you will be able to enjoy having an area of the pub to yourselves during the session.
Virtual Event (Anywhere in the world!)
Tasha first began running Pot Head workshops in 2019 because she was inspired to see how the therapeutic and playful nature of clay could bring groups together. She loves sharing the joy of creativity, and hopes that The Pot Heads can continue to connect people with both each other and with their own creativity through these packages... Some reviews from happy potters :)
"Pot Heads ran well-being sessions for a large work division which were throughly enjoyed by all! Not only was the session brilliant fun and a chance for some creativity, but Tasha was incredibly helpful and flexible as we planned the days. Lots of fun and fabulous people! Thank you Pot Heads."
"Tasha was a charming host and we all had such a fabulous time at the workshop - the time flew by! Opening the package was really exciting - so many fun things inside. We all love what we created and can definitely say are pleasantly surprised at what we achieved especially as we all said we aren't creative at the start!! Our pots will all meet one day but for now they are hanging out with us at home with their botanical hairdo's. Thanks Tasha for a wonderful workshop."
"Loved making our pots together - especially creating our characters at the start! I wasn't sure about such a messy activity to start off with but I'm really glad we gave it a go, it was so much fun and now I want to make more!"
