More about The Pot Heads...
The Pot Heads were created by community artist Tasha Bee back in 2019, when she was working with a variety of different groups to deliver creative workshops to aid wellbeing. She fell in love with the playful and tactile nature of clay and developed a fool-proof method for creating a plant pot that could be mastered by all. She began to play around with adding features ... and was amazed to see the unique creations that came to life during her sessions, finished with a plant 'hairstyle' of course! She developed a workshop and started to share with more people ... and so The Pot Heads were born.
Since then, Tasha has been on a mission to make the therapeutic properties of clay accessible to all, and there have been thousands of Pot Heads potted into creation by people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds in Bristol and across the UK.
Her sessions have been popular for team building, celebrations, community events and more and she is still amazed to see the unique creations that are born each time she hosts an event! You can see some examples of potters' fabulous creations on the Pot Heads Instagram page...

More about Unit 8 Studios
Unit 8 is a community of independent creatives, operating from a unique industrial-style studio space in the heart of St Werburghs, Bristol. Come and take a peek inside and be inspired by all that the studio has to offer! Your workshop will take place in the main space, which is a large, plant and art-filled haven with plenty to feast your eyes upon. There is plenty of on-street parking available and the space is fully wheelchair accessible.
